Becirovic Meets With the Delegation of the International Republican Institute


Member of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, spoke with the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Republican Institute (IRI), Randy Scheunemann, the Director of the IRI in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borislav Spasojević, and the Deputy Director of the IRI Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina Amila Karačić on the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Bećirović emphasized the important role of the International Republican Institute in the processes of returning the focus of Bosnia and Herzegovina to American officials, as well as in the continuation of the implementation of the projects that this organization has in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The interlocutors stated that deepening and strengthening relations with the United States of America is extremely important for Bosnia and Herzegovina and that it is important to continue excellent cooperation and communication with senators and congressmen of both the Republican and Democratic parties.

IRI representatives informed Bećirović about the activities and projects carried out by this international organization, which is dedicated to improving democracy and freedom, connecting citizens and governments, and motivating people to get involved in the political process.

They pointed out that the integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina into the EU and NATO, as well as the cooperation between the United States of America and Bosnia and Herzegovina in numerous areas through established and future projects, is an indication that the United States of America wants to continue providing support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
