Dozens of Leopard tanks from Germany have been delivered to Ukraine, and soon military equipment will show its work in a combat situation on the front line.
The head of the Ministry of Defense also thanked his German counterpart Boris Pistorius for providing military assistance.
“Leopard is a proud and strong animal. It loves freedom, fair fight and delicious food. Dozens of “Leopards” came to Ukraine to show what they are capable of. And their time will come!” – indicated in the publication.
Transfer of Leopard tanks to Ukraine
Germany supports Ukraine in rebuffing Russian full-scale military aggression. Our country received from Germany the latest Leopard 2A6 tanks, as well as armored vehicles, air defense systems, and anti-aircraft guns.
We also add that some European countries also decided to provide Ukraine with Leopard 2 and Leopard tanks. In total, the Allies promised to provide two battalions of Leopard 2 tanks (about 60 units).
We also add that for the repair of these tanks, Poland agreed to organize a service center on its territory. Poland and Germany planned to open a repair center for Leopard tanks on Polish territory at the end of May. But till now the countries cannot agree .
