The Ukrainian military continues to advance in the Bakhmut, Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, despite the resistance of the invaders. In particular, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were successful in the directions Malaya Tokmachka – Verbovoye, Novodanilovka – Rabotino.
Thus, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Bakhmut, Melitopol and Berdyansk directions. In particular, the Armed Forces of Ukraine consolidate on the achieved lines, inflict fire damage with artillery on the identified enemy targets, and carry out counter-battery measures.
“In the directions of Malaya Tokmachka – Verbovoye, Novodanilovka – Rabotino, they were successful, they are gaining a foothold on the achieved lines. In the Bakhmut direction, our troops continue to conduct offensive operations north and south of the city of Bakhmut,” he said.
In addition, according to the speaker, fighting continues in the area of the settlement of Kurdyumovka.
“The invaders put up strong resistance, use reserves, suffer significant losses,” Kovalev added.
The enemy also made unsuccessful attempts to restore the lost position in the area north of n. n. Shelter.
“It continues to provide strong resistance, moves units and troops, uses reserves. The Ukrainian Defense Forces also continue to restrain the offensive of Russian troops in the Kupyansk and Liman directions. Over the past day, there have been 30 military clashes,” Kovalev said.

Russia is concentrating its main efforts on the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions. The Armed Forces of Ukraine hit 11 artillery weapons of the Russian troops. In particular, according to the Institute for the Study of War, the UAF forced Russian forces to retreat from positions northeast of Orekhovo-Vasilovka .
