The Russian military today, August 7, fired at a high-rise building in the city of Pokrovsk (Donetsk region). There are casualties as a result of an enemy attack.
“The city of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region. Donbass, from which Russia is trying to leave only broken and burnt stones,” the message says.
According to Zelensky, the invaders launched two rocket attacks on the city.
“A hit on an ordinary residential building. Unfortunately, there are casualties . Rescuers and all the necessary services are on the spot. Rescue of people continues,” Zelensky added.
Shelling of Pokrovsk
This is not the first time Russian troops have shelled the city of Pokrovsk. The occupiers are attacking him with MLRS or S-300 air defense systems.
For example, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Pokrovsk, Donetsk region , on the evening of June 21. As a result of the shelling, four people were injured.
Also, the Russian invaders attacked Pokrovsk, Donetsk region on Wednesday, February 15. Due to the attack, a high-rise building was damaged , two people were injured, and two more residents were rescued. Then three people died.
