The Miss Non-Govermental Organisation (NGO) Namibia pageant has announced important milestones after Quintina Tjizumaue was crowned the winner of the most recent pageant held in the capital.
Miss NGO Namibia is empowering young women through charitable initiatives that promote societal development. The newly crowned titleholder, Tjizumaue, is committed to supporting NGOs and civil society organizations in Namibia, focusing on raising awareness about sexual and reproductive health, teen pregnancy, and HIV-AIDS prevention. Her efforts align with the pageant’s mission to drive social change in Namibia.
The pageant has secured the international franchise for Miss Africa Golden 2024, strengthening their vision of empowerment. As part of this milestone, Romancia Seibes, the first runner-up, will represent Namibia at the Miss Africa Golden pageant in Nigeria later this year. Seibes, an advocate for neurodivergent communities, is excited to showcase Namibia’s diversity on the global stage.
Seibes plans to use her platform to promote neurodiversity, youth empowerment, and cultural inclusivity. If she wins, she aims to raise awareness and improve support systems for neurodivergent individuals across Africa. Through her participation, Seibes hopes to foster inclusivity and highlight the importance of visibility and advocacy.
Seibes has already launched a mural project to raise awareness of neurodiversity and the importance of sign language. The initiative, in collaboration with local stakeholders, celebrates inclusivity and advocates for neurodivergent individuals. Seibes’ long-term goals include expanding outreach, advocating for youth in governance, and inspiring others through public speaking.
